TLC Cooking “How B Vitamins Work”.

With Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, we have episodes when energy overloads our nerves and uses up many of the vitamins that make them up. The B vitamins play a large role in the proper function and maintenance of our nerves, so special attention to them is important.

This part of this article provides a chart that gives the recommended daily dose of each B vitamin, the sources, functions, and the imbalance implications.

This is a good tool to keep handy and check every once in a while to make sure this area is not being neglected in our journey back to balance.

Keep in mind that many processed foods block the absorption of these important vitamins, so if you are eating “junk food” while taking in your recommended daily intake(RDI) of vitamins, your body may not be receiving what you are providing for it.

If the world is not prepared to get off our nerves, we should do our best to keep them as healthy as we possibly can while also doing our best to change that behaviour in ourselves. As the saying goes, “Be the change you want to see in the world.”

Have a peaceful, creative day.
